She was cast in The CBS soap Guiding Light, as Theresa Sandoval, from 1999 to 2000. Her film debut was as a character in Girl 6 in 1996. Her next film was in New York Undercover, and The District. Navedo was a part of Double Take in 2001 and Washington Heights the next year. Navedo was a recurring actor on the NBC Crime Show Law & Order, as Detective Ana Cordova from 2001-2004. The character was later featured in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages and Blue Bloods as well as Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages. Navedo was also in a variety of other films, such as El Cantante or Remember Me. Navedo had recurring roles in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and How to Make It in America Golden Boy from 2011 until 2013. Superfast!, a comedy film that she played.
